Authors of the Month

Helping Indie Authors. Why? Indie Authors have a tough time writing, marketing and editing on their own. I know for myself I dedicate an entire day to marketing. It’s a massive thing for an author to tackle and in doing so it can be a minefield.

Luckily I had help when starting out or I’d be one of the thousands lost at sea wondering what to do. So much advice, join social media sites, get bloggers, enter competitions!

I have several serious social media sites, LinkedIn, Medium, Mix. Then we have the social, social media sites, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest. And so it goes on. I’m in over one hundred Facebook groups to help promote my books. So you can see why dedicating a whole day to marketing is necessary!

I am becoming quicker and more established as an author each time I dedicate a day to marketing. Even if just one person views the post, reads my book they then tell others. It’s the old law of, tell one person and they tell ten others!

I’ve seen so many comments and links for help that I decided to help them myself. It doesn’t cost me anything to help others, it’s gratifying to help. It can give pleasure to see someone else struggling with marketing and know you gave them a hand.
